FindMYUNI is an online platform that provides the following services:

University Matching Service: An interactive quiz that helps students find universities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) based on their academic background, preferences, budget, and goals.
University Directory: A searchable database of universities in the UAE, including detailed profiles, programs, tuition fees, accreditation information, and contact details.
Student Support Services: Assistance with academic matching, admission support, visa and PRO coordination, and accommodation guidance.
University Portal: A dedicated platform for universities to manage their profiles, update programs and tuition information, access qualified student profiles, and communicate with prospective students.
Lead Generation: Connecting students with universities based on matching criteria and preferences.

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Student Users

Students may use the Service without creating an account. However, to access the matching quiz and receive personalized recommendations, you may be required to provide certain information including:

Personal information (name, email, phone number)
Academic background and qualifications
Study preferences and interests
Budget and location preferences
Contact preferences

3.2 University Users

Universities must register for an account to access the university portal. By registering, you represent and warrant that:

You are authorized to represent the university
All information provided is accurate and current
You will maintain the security of your account credentials
You are responsible for all activities under your account

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Conduct and Responsibilities

4.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information
Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service

4.2 Student Responsibilities

As a student user, you are responsible for:

Providing accurate and complete information in the matching quiz
Verifying all university information independently before making decisions
Contacting universities directly for official admission requirements and procedures
Understanding that matching results are recommendations, not guarantees of admission

4.3 University Responsibilities

As a university user, you are responsible for:

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date information about your institution, programs, and fees
Responding to student inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Complying with all applicable accreditation and regulatory requirements
Respecting student privacy and data protection requirements

5. Matching Service and Recommendations

The university matching service uses algorithms and criteria to match students with universities based on the information provided. You understand and agree that:

No Guarantee of Admission: Matching results are recommendations only and do not guarantee admission to any university. Final admission decisions rest solely with the universities.
Information Accuracy: While we strive to provide accurate information, we cannot guarantee the completeness or accuracy of all university data, as it is provided by the universities themselves.
Third-Party Services: We may connect you with third-party service providers for visa, PRO, accommodation, or other services. We are not responsible for the quality, availability, or terms of these third-party services.
No Endorsement: The inclusion of a university in our directory or matching results does not constitute an endorsement by FindMYUNI.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, design, logos, and trademarks, is owned by FindMYUNI and its licensors and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant FindMYUNI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

Use, reproduce, and display your content on the Service
Modify and adapt your content as necessary to provide the Service
Share your information with matched universities (with your consent)

6.2 University Content

Universities grant FindMYUNI a license to display their content (logos, descriptions, program information) on the Service. Universities represent that they have the right to grant such license and that their content does not infringe any third-party rights.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in our Privacy Policy. Key points include:

Student information may be shared with matched universities (with your consent)

8. Lead Generation and Sharing

When you complete the matching quiz and consent to sharing your information, we may:

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

9.1 Service Availability

While we strive to provide accurate information, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of all information on the Service. University information is provided by the universities themselves, and we are not responsible for any errors or omissions.

9.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FindMYUNI and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses
Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service
Damages resulting from decisions made based on information or recommendations from the Service
Any actions or omissions of universities or third-party service providers

9.4 No Educational or Legal Advice

The Service provides information and recommendations only. It does not constitute educational, legal, financial, or professional advice. You should consult with universities directly and seek appropriate professional advice before making any decisions.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FindMYUNI, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any rights of another party
Any content you submit to the Service

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:

Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
We may delete your account and associated data (subject to our Privacy Policy)
All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and FindMYUNI regarding the use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
